Here I was chasing Osprey since my beloved Eagles had pretty much migrated on and I was needing a raptor fix. Headed to Cypress Lake Conservation Area I was mesmerized by the sheer numbers of Osprey flying about, nesting, hunting and calling out in the morning light. But wait! We find another location which is frequented by Spoon Bills, a passionate pink stunning bird loved by birders and photographers alike. But what took my attention? Not the Spoonies but these beautiful little egrets in full plumage at the end of breeding season. Cattle Egrets! Go figure!
