The Eagle has not landed!
Once highly endangered, it was absolutely ONLY through the grand efforts of conservation, that the American Bald Eagle was brought back from near-extinction. Brutal conditions, lead poisoning, man's encroachment upon habitat almost wiped them out. What many photographers and viewers do not understand is how fragile the juvenile eagles are with a mortality rate and often lowered survival rate due to lack of prey, competition, brutal weather conditions, lead poisoning, ille

Yellowstone and its Beauty
Even with conservation efforts, tracking and collaring with constant monitoring, it was tragic to find out that one of the most beloved of wolves was shot and killed just outside the boundaries of Yellowstone National Park. It is heartbreaking to visit Yellowstone and see the absolutely deplorable behavior of tourists in buses and autos, crowding, terrorizing and acting with total disregard to wildlife just trying to survive. You're never satisfied. You see your earlier work and are

To be trusted is a greater compliment than being loved!
I know we have all experienced betrayal whether by family member, friend or coworker. It is a powerful gift when we offer our hearts or trust to someone. We wear our emotions on our sleeves and there becomes an unspoken truth that we hope that person holds our heart dear. But often by accident we discover we've been betrayed, lied to or deceived. We must at that time hold our tongue. Wait for the anger and hurt to pass. Say nothing. Find solace and comfort in the si
